Madame Zingara's Theatre Of Dreams ends her Cape Town run with another spectacular Christmas in July!
This year's event took place in the fabulous Theatre of Dreams as part of the tradition of Christmas in July, for which Madame Zingara has become famous.
The Theatre of Dreams was decked out in frills and folly from the 17th July to the 28th, inviting the guests to step inside a wonderland of baubles and lights, mixed with the opulence of the famous Spiegel Tent.
Once again, guests opened their hearts and arrived with mountains of presents for the children of Ikamva Labantu and this year a whopping R 205 000 was handed over to the organisation.
The spirit of giving was truly alive and the owners of Madame Zingara express heartfelt thanks to the City of Cape Town, both for their support of the Theatre of Dreams, and for the never-ending support of the children of this magnificent organisation.
The 28th July was both the closing night for the Cape Town run of Arabesque, the dinner / theatre spectacular, and also the annual Christmas in July Charity Ball. Even though the event was a more intimate experience than last years festivities, the Tent still rocked till the wee hours of the morning as guests bade farewell to the Madame before she departed to her new location in Johannesburg.
